One of the things I love about twitter is if you have a question and have built a robust network of knowledgable friends, all you need to do is ask. As an example, I meeting with my team to discuss the fundemental question of “how do you find relevent blogs to read?” I asked my tweeple how they search for new blogs, and this is a sample (sorry if I missed yours, next time I’ll set up a hashtag):

I’ll discover blogs via Twitter, Pownce (where I saw this post), Blogrolls, blog comments, Google Readershare, recommended reading pages, etc. So to the extent that people share things–either through services or through their own blogs (I wrote a wee bit about such sharing methods last year)–I will add them to my growing list in Google Reader and/or bookmark them on del.icio.us.
If looking for a blog on a specific topic, I’ll start with a regular search then try Google Blog Search, Technorati, StumbleUpon, del.icio.us, MyBlogLog, blogged.com and other such directories/recommendation services.
Yet whether I’m passively finding blogs or looking for something specific, both tactics rely on the recommendations of other readers to at least some extent.
